Beware of the sun
Ministry of Health has joined the campaign of the European Union in 2007 with the aim of educating for a proper exposure to the sun to reduce the risks to health from excessive absorption of ultraviolet (UV).
The key recommendations are outlined in brochures and posters that will be distributed starting in June in pharmacies, perfumeries and beauty centers across Italy.
1) No product filters all UV rays, but the use of appropriate solar protection from skin cancer;
2) The sun should be selected according to skin type;
3) Attention to solar radiation when you are near water, sand or snow;
