Asian jewelry health warning
In Yesterday, several media outlets have picked up a Spanish news concern. An investigation conducted by the Institute of Technology Metalworking (AIMME) revealed the presence of prohibited items in some cases and not recommended in jewelry and other trinkets of Asian origin. Some of these substances can cause allergies, and in some cases may be cause more serious problems yet.
Sweating can lead to release these gems metals that are harmful to human health, as stipulated in the regulations. It has been found in many of these treasures the presence of nickel and cobalt as part of the alloys used. These metals easily produce allergies in people who have this tendency.
